Hi guys,
We have a Tessitura users group that meets once a month. Last year it took an angle that was a little dull, ticking boxes really - basically outstanding items that hadn’t been completed which really didn't have much to do with all of the people attending the meeting and those attending come from all departments, people who live in the system on a daily basis and those who touch it once a week!
So i want to know about what you guys are doing out there for your user groups?
Anyone really engaging their users in these meetings? Doing anything funky?
Inspire me………I dare you!! J
Hi Ranie,
Here in Pittsburgh, we have a User meeting monthly for all the organizations who are part of the consortia. These tend to be updates on releases, projects in the works (WordFly,etc.), data maintenance, etc. that effect most users. Then we have a second "focused" meeting (ideally) every month were there will be an in-depth look at a certain area/topic, such as Solicitations, Elevated Events, T-STATS, etc.
(As far as funky, we did once have a statistical look at certain unkind words used in CSIs.)
Colourful language Issues !! ha! That would be interesting : )
Great - yeah this is good - i am thinking along the same lines. I'd like to explore in depth a topic or section on Tessitura each time we meet. Hopefully start off with those topics that affect everyday users and then topics that some users would like to explore and others may not – but mix it up a bit.
Cheers – this info is helpful!!
