Screen Order in Facility Manager

Hello, We have a facility we inherited that has one of the screens out of order. Not top to bottom. We are able to correct this by connecting the screens in the right order so when we scroll through we hit the right place but when we pull RMA reports the settings are sorting based on the screen location in the Facility. This is one of our most used venues so recreating it isn't an option. Does anyone know if it is possible to change these or are we out of luck? Thanks Mike

    It is by design that the various RMA reports that group data by facility screen tend to sort on screen_no within the facility, rather than referring to the button configuration used when flipping through screens in the seatmap in Tessitura. This is because, for example, if you have an in-the-round facility, you can configure different screens to appear when you arrow left or right as well as up and down. This doesn't really translate directly to a sort order that could be used consistently across the RMA. If you have specific concerns about functionality in the RMA related to this, your best bet is probably to email RMA@jcainc.com and the RMA support team will be glad to discuss in greater detail the specific behaviour you're seeing or discuss possible workarounds.

  • Not sure I understand completely, but do you mean in the list of screens when you expand the facility tree and then the screens tree under the facility? If so, I'm fairly certain the order cannot be changed once created.
  • Thanks Amanda. It was something that comes up from time to time on our calls with Timmy. The one screen is way out to the left out of order with the rest of the zones nearby. They must have built that screen last. :) Yes Michele - I am talking about that one. As Amanda explained the RMA is using the screen ID so we'll just have to deal. :) Thank to both of you. Mike
