Pricing Rule for Access Customers

Hello, Wondering of anyone has come across this issue. We have a constituent triggered Pricing Rule for our Access customers based on a Constituency Code. They are entitled to a discount Price Type. However, this price isn't available on all events and customer then doesn't seem to be able to book. Also they do not get the option to override the rule and book at the standard price if the booking being made is not for them. Ideally we would like the Access Level price types to be exposed as an option only to people who have the right constituent types. Thanks in advance, Kelly

Kelly, It won't solve the problem to 100% satisfaction, but if you decided to go with Promo Codes (http://www.tessituranetwork.com/tn_express_web_user_guide/content/topics/promo_codes.htm), you would be able to provide that special pricing access through controlled communication of that promo code to your desired group of constituents. You can also place the promo code in the web link to TNEW and have the promo code automatically show up when those constituents click to it through an email to make it easier. The biggest problem here (and something I just ran into with one of our events and Promo Codes) is that you'll have people who shouldn't qualify hearing about the code and using it, as well as people who should qualify who don't know how to enter the code to get their deserved pricing. Thank you, Brian
