QR Code Placement

Good Afternoon All, We have started the process of switching the bar codes on our tickets to QR codes for security and space reasons. Problem is that no matter where we have placed the actual data field on the ticket design in Tessitura it prints just above the placement area on the ticket. It's not a rotation thing because all of that is locked with the use of QR Codes. Anyone else having this issue and found a solve? I have attached a copy on what we are working to give an example, but any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Richard, does the QR Code scan properly? It does appear flipped to me. I usually see the squares of the QR Code on the left and the top and know that there is a related defect in v12.5.1. Issue: If the data element that precedes a QR code in the print order, is rotated in a ticket design, then the QR code will be influenced by that rotational value causing the QR code to flip. Workaround: Insert a text data element in a position on the ticket template that results in it being the data element that precedes the QR code (with a single full stop and set to the smallest font, so that it's barely visible on the ticket). This issue is resolved in v14. Try the workaround above and if that doesn't resolve your issue please open a support ticket. -Chris

Chris in further testing we have been fine, but I will take your note and make some adjustments on the ticket from here to ensure no further issues in the future. Thanks for writing.
