We are new to Tessitura, operating on the calendar year and will be open on New Year's Day. We are trying to figure out the best way to prepare in advance for the rollover as well as have a good plan in place for New Year's Day to quickly change over for business that day. We've already built the performances, packages, the basics, etc.
We have about 90+ pricing rules for each F/Y in use that we Keyword, Quick Sale screen, scanners (for a new configuration), ticket design changes for updates to packages in 2017, and probably a few more that we are overlooking. We also have to use offers to fill in when we are unable to use multiple pricing rules and are unsure if we need to prep anything for the offers.
Does anyone have tips or tricks for rolling into a New Year or does anyone see something glaringly obvious that we are overlooking?
Thank you!
Hey Kaley,
Take a look at this link: http://www.tessituranetwork.com/Community/forums/t/4792.aspx for a nice list of considerations.

Kaley, I don’t know if I understand all the elements you’re dealing with. When we’re changing fiscal years, I built a new Quick Sale layout screen so that everything could be set up ahead of time. Then on the day of the change, I just needed to change the Default Sales Layout in the Mode of Sale. Good luck!
