Print at Home Option for Subscription

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone is using the Print at Home (Delivery Mode) in Tessitura for Subscription tickets? We always mail the tickets to the subscribers. Just wanted to check if it  would be effective to email the subscription tickets to subscribers. If anyone is using this method, has there been any problem regarding the size of the file? I mean if there are 36 tickets booked under a single subscriber, will there be any issue to send those tickets through email?

I would appreciate the reply in this matter.

Thanks

Manisha Dangol

    Hello:
I have two thoughts on this:
    1) a pdf that contained 36 tickets would likely not be put through to a home email; it would be far too large. (try sending yourself or a test pdf this size to a gmail account),
    2) If you process exchanges, you'll may have issues with both your ticketing staff and your front of house.  A patron won't be able to delete an invalid ticket from their printout.
You may end up spending more money managing a PAHT series than you would save by avoiding mailing costs.

    Best of luck!

We offer PAH to our subscribers with good results - about 43% of our subscribers selected PAH this season.

Our template file size is reasonable, we haven't run into any significant issues with large qty orders.

We disable the print flag on the mode of sale in the package set up during the initial renewal and new subscriber (unseated) timeline until we're ready to deploy/deliver.

I think Mark's 2nd point is a valid concern though.

    Good luck!
