I have set up a sales layout in quick sale with buttons for memberships and some fees, also making it a "Primary" layout. I have also associated it with a mode of sale as the Default Sales Layout, tested it and all buttons work as expected. My next intention is to create a new Sales Layout screen that I want to navigate to from the original layout when in an order screen. I set up a navigator button defining price type and payment methods to the button. I then added a button for a performance in the new layout. When testing I can navigate to the screen but when clicking the button nothing happens. What am I missing?
Hi Alec,
Just checking that you have the following…
On your primary screen/layout you have the navigator button that goes to the new layout. On that new layout, you have your performance button, and you have defined the price types & payment methods for that layout (they have to be defined for each layout)? When you click the performance button, no price types show? Have you checked that the users have access to those price types and that the perf is on sale (the button is usually greyed out if it’s off sale though)?
Just on another note- I also recommend having a navigator button on your new layout, which goes back to the original layout, so that your users don’t get stuck in the one layout!

Adding on to Alison's response is something that stumped me once before.
The primary layout must have all price types and payment methods associated it, incuding price types that may be on another linked layout but not on the original.
Say you've got a primary layout and you've only got an Adult price type. You navigate to the next layout where there's an event with a 50% price type. The 50% price type will not display unless it is also associated with the primary layout.
Hope that helps too!
