So confused about why this button isn't working. So I have to set up an event for Development. They want the buttons to have one button with a price for non-members and one button that is comp for current members attending the event. They want the priced item to be available to move into a membership later if the patron wants to have a membership. So I created a Contribution button tied to the fund for the membership with the $20 pricetype. The other button, the COMP one couldn't be a contribution because apparently all contributions must have a price-logical. So that one is a performance button that has the same GL as the button with the price on it. The performance button that is a COMP is showing up fine in QuickSale. The $20 Contribution button has a membership Popup that has a dimmed OK button so I can't add it to the cart.
There is no membership set up for this level yet. What do I need to do to be able to add this to the cart?
Thanks in advance
As far as I can remember, you need an account attached to the order for a membership. Add an account and it won’t be dimmed

We don't use Quick Sale so I may be way off but I have one thought. Maybe the contribution fund isn't available for ticketing? You can check under Campaigns / References / Funds and there is a box that says Use In Ticketing. Maybe that will help.
