Ticket Layer reporting

Hi

We are looking into using price layers to combine ticket and tour purchases into one price type. We have set it up so that the ticket price is $21 and we added a fee layer of $14 making the entire price $35. Is there a way for me to report on these two separate layers?

Thanks

  • Howdy Jess,

You might try Performance Transaction Detail as the report. That's the only one I could find that gives GL information.

  • Natalie Threlfall of the EU Tessitura Support Team wrote me a custom report that does this; it's quite splendid and I use it a lot. It's evidence (if evidence were needed) of why Natalie should probably be canonised at some point.

You're welcome to have it if you'd like - it might require some fiddling with at the setup to meet your needs, but drop me a line if you think it would be useful.

Any standard report with a Price Category parameter will let you see these layers one at a time. I haven't come across a report that shows both broken out on the same page, but pulling a report twice with one different parameter generally isn't a problem for us. The one I use most often is the Ticket Sales by Period report, pulling it once with the Price category 'Ticket Price' for those sales, and once with the Price Category 'Fee' for all the fees on the same events.

    Hi Chris,

That sounds like a really useful report - I'd be keen to use it to track performances with our premium price layer applied. Is that something you're still able to share?

    Cheers in advance,
