Hi All,
We have been on Tessitura coming up on three months now and love. However, we are interested to know how other organizations handle waiting lists for performances. Our legacy software a very specific waiting list function to keep track of things. We have explored using CSI's but they seem a little clunky for just a waiting list.

Hi Daniel
We have been using a Google Doc to track wait lists and have explored the CSI system but have not committed to it yet. We do use CSI's for other purposes so it is possible we could cross that path for wait lists too. I am also curious if anyone else chimes in with their way of wait list functions.
Thanks

Hi Brian,
I have heard that some orgs are using a special MOS that allows unseated reservations. I would love to hear more in depth on how to set this up if anyone is using this method and how you pull a report to call people on the waiting list.
Thanks,Daniel Williams

We're using a "Waitlist" MOS that is set to allow unseated line items. When a guest is waitlisted, we open an order in the Waitlist MOS, add the performance(s), then save & close the order without seating the sold out line items.
Viewing the waitlist can be done from Order Entry - run an order search for the specific performance with the filter set to the Waitlist MOS, then order by open date.
As space opens up, we seat the oldest waitlisted orders and change the MOS/delivery method so a confirmation and tickets will be emailed to the guest.
