Hello All,
This is my first post on the network. I work in subscriptions at the Met Opera, NYC.
Here at the Met, we can exchange your subscription tickets at the time of renewal/purchase, and many customers take advantage of this. In addition to the customer's subscription line item, there may also be additional line items representing the exchanges. This causes some inaccuracy in the subscription summary. If a customer has made exchanges, the subscription summary will only show the cost and seats for the subscription and not the additional line items. In these cases, sub line items would have been taken out of the subscription and replaced by new line items causing the price to be totally inaccurate.
I would like to know: Is there a way to add the cost of additional line items into the subscription summary? Is there a way to add the seats of additional line items into the subscription summary?
I appreciate any input you may be able to provide.
Hi Lucie,
Thanks for your reply. I just double checked and created some test orders to be sure, and our exchanges also use the Subscription price type, but the Subscription Price in Subscription Summary only reflects the cost of whatever is in the package line item and nothing in the exchange line item.
We use price type category so that all exchange price types use Subscription. In season overview, we see our fixed package subscription amounts diminishing and non-fixed packages increasing.
Lucie
