release held seats en masse

Does anyone know how to release a large block of held seats? I know how to put a large group of seats on hold, but for releasing, it seems like it has to be done one at a time.

Thank you!

  • If you were buying them in the Ticketing module, could you claim them? If so, they're breakable: you can "break" them.

I actually don’t know about whether they are breakable. They are all in one row, and all seats in that row are on hold. And I think that I’m the one who put them on hold, so I did them all at once …. How would I know if they are breakable?

Oh! Interesting. Are you sure the hold codes are breakable in your MOS? Or perhaps there are multiple hold codes on each seat and you're choosing only to release one of them in the drop-down box...?

You shouldn't need to refresh or log out, no. How ***.

Thanks, Chris! I’ve been trying that, and it hasn’t been working either. Do I need to refresh afterward, or log out and then log back in to be able to see the release?

Click and hold your mouse, lasso a bunch of affected seats - then click "Block selection - Holds", and use the Expiry section at the bottom. Hope this saves you a bunch of time!
