Hi Michelle,
For Box Office we keep all season records for 3 years and then wait for written approval from our Finance department after the audit has closed before we securely dispose of anything.

Hello!
We're a young organization and have just implemented our employee handbook which includes a record retention policy.
What jumped out is there's nothing addressing box office documents (deadwood, subs orders - except "information and data needed for its operations - subscription documents).
While each state has different laws, etc is anyone willing to share what your specific policies are with respect to time limits for box office items?
At prior venues I've followed:
Sales Records (box office, concessions, gift shop, cafe) - 5 Years
Cash and credit card receipts - 3 years
Deadwood - 3 years
Would love to know what has worked for others.
Thank you for sharing!
