Guest Checkout on the web

Hello World,

We are exploring guest checkout functionality for our website and our teams are engaged in debate about what customer data should be collected through a guest checkout purchase. We want to speed up the process and not make it long and boring, but also want to know things about our ticket buyers!

Has any other company gone though a similar process and have challenges / opportunities to share?

  • From our experience, the most pressing issue with the guest checkout is our data hygiene. Our sublicensee has a guest checkout and it seems to work pretty well for their needs.  However, each abandoned cart in the TNEW guest checkout path creates a blank profile in Tessitura which isn’t great.  We haven’t found an elegant solution to clean up the data on an ongoing basis.

Does anyone with the guest checkout enabled have any tips or tricks from their experience?

    Joanne
