Seat Price Information on the Seating Map Screen

Hi Everyone,

We have recently created a whole host of new price zones for use with Dynamic Pricing.

Because of this we now have lots of zones for our Box Office team to navigate through to find prices, with zones subject to change.

Our website amalgamates the different prices available, bring it down to five for a customer to see which is great.

However for our team, when talking to a customer and finding out the price of a seat, they are are seemingly forced to click through the seats one at a time or hover over a vast array of seats to now find one at the price a customer wants to purchase.

I was wondering, has anybody configured a way for the pricing of an event to be displayed by price zone or legend, a long with discounts etc in the seating map screen? Or are you encountering the same issue and have found a solution that works for you in ensuring your team know where to search for pricing that's easy?

I'm aware the table is in product info, but have not found this useful for the team to click back and forth in screens to locate the info.

Many thanks,

James

We generally have chosen to create new Zone Maps for each show and add Zones as needed instead of creating 30 different zones on every map. There are pros and cons to both methods.

Would a customization to display Zone Group work for you?

  • Hi Nicole,

Thanks for replying. That is interesting. We have gone all out on the zones so we can create templates to match productions in venues against each other, and working with the RMA to compare and make analytical decisions.

A customization for display purposes sounds, and would be a good move I reckon. Is this something you have worked on or have some knowledge/experience of at all?

    Best wishes,

    James
