We are having a real difficult time trying to figure out how to do yield management with a mid-season upgrade to v12.5.1
In V11, we started our season with one set of price types, with separate price types for various discount % off our base price (Discount 10%, 20%, 30% etc. On our first application of yield management, those price types (maps) would get inactivated and new premium price types would be added, with new price maps tied to them. Each subsequent increase would create a new map on the new YM price types with increases.
Upgrade to v12, and our application of YM has now created multiple layers on our performances (one for each YM application that increased pricing). We also used to increase pricing as a percentage of the base pricing (so what we started with at on-sale).
Add to this the fact that we have multiple zones (22 in one of our 4 venues) and our aisle zones in each price zone are $5 more.
Has anyone come up with a handy way to increase pricing in v12.5 when multiple price types and zones need to be increased? I really fear doing this and making mistakes.
Any help would be appreciated.
