Hi everyone
I'm trying to resolve a problem for the education team but its a ticketing query.
They want to sell tickets for a workshop and show package so I would set up a Tessitura package for this however for the tickets for the show, they want the workshop participants to be able to access only a certain allocation of tickets that customers booking only the show wouldn't be able to book so that we can make sure that there are enough seats at a certain price for all of the workshop participants. The workshop cannot be purchased without a show ticket.
Has anyone found a way of doing this online so that the workshop booking triggers access to an allocation for a show as part of a package? We are using TNEW but interested in anyone doing this.
Thanks
Nicola
Hi Nicola,
Since allocations are accessed via Modes of Sale, I think your best bet would be to create a new MOS for your workshop/performance package with an allocation that's only available in that MOS. I'm not on TNEW, but we do MOS shifts for packages using a source code embedded in the package purchase link.
So it's not the purchase of the workshop that triggers the allocation, but purchasing the package which flips the MOS and allows access to the allocation for both the workshop event and the performance event.
Does that help?
Dorothy
Hello
Could you do this by using a source code so that access a particular price type which only uses the allocation?
