Possible to lock down the search function in the orders owner field?

Hi Tessi-verse,

Strange question for you…. Is it possible to lock down the search functionality in the orders owner field?

Here is a little background on why we might want to do this….

We will be using a third party vendor to rent our audio guide devices but we would still like these transactions to go through Tessitura. We were planning on creating these as separate "performances" and giving this third party limited Tessitura access to complete these transactions through orders. Some colleagues are concerned about a third party having access to our constituent info so we are trying to make it so they cannot search for or open any constituent records.

Any thoughts?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Kelly

  • Hi Kelly,

You can set security such that a user group does not have access to the constituent module. This does not prevent them from searching for constituents from Ticket Orders, but does prevent them opening a constituent record from there so all they would see would be the data returned from the search. I hope that helps!

    Thank you!
