We are on v5 of NScan and I am doing this test from v11.
I've set up an NScan CSI on my file but when I scan my tickets I'm not getting the patron message -I've followed the instructions in the documentation which basically just says to create the CSI and set the perf date to the perf date that you are attending.
Is there anything else that's not in the documentation that would help me get the message on the scanner?

I don’t see an NSCAN_Message entry for T_Defaults in the v11 help system, nor the v12.5. I tried adding it in my T_Defaults, but it’s still not presenting the message. Is it the ID from TR_CUST_ACTIVITY_TYPE or from TR_CUST_ACTIVITY_CATEGORY? Neither one worked for me.

I'm on different versions (v12.5 and v6) so I think there is a different system table for this. For me, in T_DEFAULTS, there is a line for NSCAN_MESSAGE_CS_ISSUE_NO that you need to enter the ID of the CSI type. Do you have that filled in?

We never had v5 of NScan so I did a little digging for old documentation. Looks like the system table this lives in is LTR_NSCAN_DEFAULTS. Those settings move to T_DEFAULTS in v6. I think it'll be Message C/S Issue No??
