Pricing rules in 12.5.1 with a rep production

Hello;

We have a question about the new pricing rules. We are starting our season with Art and Red in rep. and wanted to use the new pricing rule to help promote the first two productions.   here are our question and concerns.

Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE MicrosoftInternetExplorer4

-If they have purchased the first show in one order, and then return to purchase the second show in another order on the website, will Tessitura/our website know they already have tickets to the first show in the original order (thus will apply the discount to the new tickets in the new order)? If so, will it also recognize it if the first order was done over the phone or in person, rather than on the website?

-For tickets to both productions purchased in one order, can we set a rule so that if they have two tickets to one production but want three tickets to the other, the discount is only applied to two out of the three tickets?

-For tickets to both productions purchased in one order, does it matter which production they put in their cart first?

-For tickets to both productions purchased in one order, if they first select tickets to a less expensive performance (i.e. maybe a Tuesday night performance) of one production, and then select tickets to a more expensive performance or tier for the second production, which one will have the discount applied?  Whichever one is selected first? Whichever one is more expensive or cheaper?

    Your first question is the trickiest. You may want to add a Constituency via a script for anyone who has already purchased and add a Constituency based rule for these shows.

    I would suggest creating rules in your Test environment for the rest of your questions. I think you will be happily surprised at how well your concerns are addressed once you start testing it out. Just set them up for a MOS you want to use in the Test Application.

    Have fun with your rules!
