Hold Until Method & PAH

Hi,

The Science Museum has recently encountered an issue with a small percentage of PAH tickets not being emailed. When we check the orders, they are designated HABO for Delivery.

The only part of the Mode of Sale set-up that looks odd is the Hold Until Method, which is set  "Relative" our other web Mode of Sale (which has not experienced this PAH failure) shows a null value here, as do most of our other MOS.

When I attempted to set this parameter to null, I was only give the choice of Relative or Fixed. None of our MOS indicate Fixed, they show either null or Relative.

Any gurus who can tell me

1) Is this even a factor in the PAH failure,

2) Can I put in a null value into Hold Method, or are they all really fixed but show null.

Thanks.

  • Ray,

We had a similar issue lately and found there was a bug that caused the PAH parameters to look at days in past order date vs performance date.  Ramp applied a patch to our system and it appears to have fixed it for us.  You may want to open a ticket and see if that helps resolve your issue as well.

    Good Luck,

    Sadie

Thanks Sadie, this explains a lot of strange behavior!  We actually had one order today that emailed the correct order receipt, but then sent out tickets for an order a year ago. I appreciate the quick reply.
