Hi Everyone,
We are looking to setup our new shows in our new season with the RMA in mind. We are looking to have roughly 15 price "zones" and would like to know how those of you using Microzones have set them up, and the problems you have encountered...and then the solutions you came up with to resolve them. We do not use TNEW and are looking to start with 5 prices over the 15 zones, and then look to vary the number of prices available.
In "Select Your Own Seat" we face then the issue that there will be lots of seats of the same colour at different prices, and seats at different colours, with the same price. Causing confusion potentially for our customers.
In the "Best Available" functionality, we face having lists of prices which we are unable to amalgamate as they would be done by "Price Zone" . So we could have 5 zones all listing down with the same price, when ideally we would like to just have the one.
I have read talk of people using Zone Maps to do this, and of Sections. Any advice would be very gratefully received.
Thank You,
James
Since you are not using TNEW you should be able to address your concerns with web customization. The big question is how do you want to describe the zone for Best Available if it could be many different areas of the house. We opted to leave Best Available functionality as is, but for SYOS guests hover over available inventory to see the price of an individual seat.
I’d be happy to talk through your ideas if you need a sounding board.
Have a great day!
Nicole
