Hello -
We are wondering if there is a way to move money on account from one CID to another, but that "another" account is a completely different person.
The situation is a subscriber account has three tickets for a concert and the "third" person (a friend) owns that third ticket and made an exchange and a credit balance remains on the account. Well the account it is on is the original buyer but belongs to the friend and the friend had said she wants to donate that balance. So the friend should get the tax credit. We print our letter manually but it doesn't accurately reflect in Tess.
I hope this makes sense.
Thank you!
Brian
Yes we have a Payment Method called Transfer/Reapply and it has a GL that is not used elsewhere so this account always has a zero balance. When you post your batch you can make sure that it went out and in to another account on the Summary Report. We have the Operations User Group as the only ones that have access to this Payment Method. Hope this helps.
