Order Date Frozen after upgrading to 8.0

Hi,

We just upgraded from 7.0 to 8.0, and have encountered a problem with the order date of rolled-over subscription orders. In 7.0 we are able to change the order dates. However since we upgraded the order dates have been locked to March 13 (which I believe was close the rollover date).

Has anyone else experienced this? We have the right settings in MOS so I'm not sure what is causing this.

  • You cannot change the date on an order after it has been saved, which includes rolled over orders.  There was a bug introduced when the ability to change the mode of sale on existing orders was added a few versions back that allowed you to change the order date on existing orders.  That bug was corrected when you upgraded.  The mode of sale setting allows you to change the date on new orders only.

     

    To be able to select a date on rollover orders you must leave the order date blank on the rollover set.  The resulting orders will have no order date, allowing you to select an order date.
