Multiple Venue Setup

Hello all,

I am intrested in seeing if any organization sells tickets for another facility that is not part of their consortium? We have the chance to work with another theatre and so far have not found a good way to implement this. Looking to chat with anyone who has done this or working on this now.

This is an interesting discussion.  We do want to point out however that the rights to sell at other venues has license implications.  For certain consortium and usage considerations this is possible under some of the licenses issued.  For most of the license holders, this requires a specific approval of the licensor, with some financial consideration being required.  This can be an excellent use of the system and reporting and security can accommodate it but needs to be done according to valid license rights.  We suggest that any organization seeking to do this, first review their needs with the Network marketing professionals and / or senior management.  We can match up your interests with appropriate license handling.  The best first contact points would be myself (jrubin@tessituranetwork.com / +1.888.643.5778 ext 302) or Brian Feldman at bfeldman@tessituranetwork.com / +1.888.643.5778 ext 332).

    Thank you.

  • Thank you letting us know that. I failed to mention that both organizations use Tessitura. We will be using the Tessitura Network as a resource on this project. Basically were co-producing with another theatre that uses Tessitura, and interested if anyone else has done this selling both subscription and single tickets.

  • Hi All,

    Good day.

I think this is a very interesting question.

How to synchronise two Tessitura initial perf setup, and ongoing hold code with minimal efforts?

this even can be how to synchronise perfs between LIVE and TEST without copy over.

    have fun.

    Ben
