Free Events

Hi All,

I'm wondering how everyone handles their free events.

We currently issue tickets (in a GA venue in Tessitura) in advance of the event but have been experiencing very high attrition rates.

If anyone also uses tickets/passes for their free events, how far in advance do you make them available?

Do you impose any restrictions on delivery method? (will call only, no Print At Home etc.)

Thanks!

  • When we have free events we want to track, we set them up as regular ticketed events, and market as "Free, reservations required." Ticketing setup is fairly straightforward, and TNEW supports zero-price ticket reservations; the only procedure pieces that are slightly different are what happens at the door for will call and walk up -- but that's just our business practices.
