Our management is wondering how other organizations report subscription revenue. Do you report your revenue before or after subscription exchanges have taken place?

We report Subscription packages based on the original sales (prior to exchanges) and report individual performances on actual sales (after exchanges).

We keep the revenue from exchanges with subscription income (all our subscription exchange price types go to the subscription GL).
