Single MOS and Multiple Allocation Codes on the web

Hello, all. I am working with one of our consortium groups on setting up allocations for group sales for this season. I read through an old post (2009-2010) regarding the fact that if there were multiple groups for a performance, each would need their own MOS in order for this to work which is congruous with what I've discovered, but I'm wondering if in the last 5 years anyone has figured out a way to make unique promo words tied to unique sources tied to unique allocations only unlock those specific blocks via 1 MOS. The ticketing manager I'm working with thought that it might work if the zone was unique, but that is probably not going to be the case. Just wondering if there's anyone out there that's figured this out. Thanks!

My suggestion is to combine allocation codes with zones segmentation.  If a code triggers a price which is only active in one "zone" then one MOS you can have access to multiple allocations, but only specific sets of seats for each promo. Basically you're moving the limitation up to a zone level. However, it seems to be less complicated and less impactful to use separate modes of sale.  What are you trying to accomplish with a single Mode of Sale?

We use zones combined with allocations for our staff sale in order to offer multiple ticket prices with different allocation limits for each price type.
