Ticket Envelopes

Our mailers are standard business envelopes with a double-paned insert for the ticket header.  Our will call envelopes are 6x3 (so the tickets and header fit snugly) with a large central window plus space for information at top – our supplier sent us a sample of their current envelopes and I mixed and matched so I got something useful for us.  We changed our ticket stock (size and design), mailing and ticket envelopes this year.  I worked closely with marketing so it went smoothly – also, we needed to order new stock and envelopes so there isn’t much of the previous inventory left.

We are looking at changing the size and design of our inner and outer single ticket envelopes. We currently use the standard 9.5 X 4.25 size to mail our tickets in. The ticket envelope that we place the actual tickets in for Mail and HABO is 6 3/4 X 3 1/4. The inner envelope moves around too much.

I recently purchased tickets to a ball game (of course!) and fell in love with the size and design. The outer envelope is 7 1/4 X 4 5/8. The mailing envelope has a peel off for closing and securing the envelope.

If we change the size it means that our Marketing and Development inserts will need to be revised and new HABO cabinets will have to be purchased. There are benefits to this change but it is always goo to find out what other organizations are doing. Can you share your single ticket envelope size and design with me?
