Ranking information

Hi,

Is anyone is willing to share their ranking formula?

Is your ranking dynamic in Tessitura or do you just do a yearly update?

If Dynamic, do you run a nightly report that updates the rankings?

Do you weight frequency and current purchases/gifts or just lifetime $?

Do you utilize ranks in anything other than subscription processing?

Do you have a message or heading flag for people who are the lowest numbers (i.e. 1-200)?

Thanks for any help.

  • Is anyone is willing to share their ranking formula?  Yes (it's a sql sp which I would happy to email to you.)

Is your ranking dynamic in Tessitura or do you just do a yearly update? Ours is dynamic.

If Dynamic, do you run a nightly report that updates the rankings? We update rankings nightly.

Do you weight frequency and current purchases/gifts or just lifetime $? We weight current contributions, sub $, single ticket $ and lifetime. Current gets a lower weight than the lifetime items, for example: contributions get a 2 for every dollar and being a donor for at least five years is a one time weight of 100.

Do you utilize ranks in anything other than subscription processing?  contributions, single tickets, board members, musicians, staff, years as donor or sub.

Do you have a message or heading flag for people who are the lowest numbers (i.e. 1-200)? We flag the top 1.618% as VIPs and they have a star in their header.
