We are starting a volunteer program. In certain classes (general admission) we will be placing Volunteer Hold Codes on the seats that are specific for volunteers. I know by using a spec.req. the WEB API can break the Hold Code, but is it possible for us only to use seats that contain the Hold Code and not consider any other seats when our volunteer constituents log into the Volunteer Portal?
For example I have a GA facility with 50 seats and two of the seats have a Hold Code of Volunteer - I only want those two seats to be made available to the constituent when they log in to our portal.

I think the best way to make this work is actually to use allocations tied to a promo/source instead of hold codes. I've never actually had to use that but have had it suggested to me when I was considering it. Hopefully someone else with a little more experience can chime in.
We use allocations for this as well particularly for groups or ASL performances to ensure our patrons have a good view of where the interpreter will be standing. We also dedicate a MOS for this allocation for more control.
