Is anyone using quicksale with a touch screen at point of sale? How is it working? We are looking at hardware for point of sale, I'd love any suggestions, tips or advice! anwillia@ngs.org

We used it for our recent Festival with touch screen laptops. We had mice set up as well so staff had a choice. Some staff preferred the touch screen and others stuck to the old school method. I did try both and didn't find any issues with the touch screen functionality. I didn't need to bash the screen to get it to register for instance.
If you've got the ability to do it I say give it a go. It impresses the odd customer and makes you look well tech savvy.

At the festival were your touchscreens stationary or wandering? Have you tried both? Looking at future events we are testing out the ability to have mobile check-ins as we look into the touchscreen functionality.
Just stationary at present though the idea of the Tessitura Roving Box Office may appeal top us for our Writers Festival and to break away a bit from the traditional box office.
