Hold Code Report Output

Hello,

I'm looking for a report that would give me something similar to the current Hold Code Report Summary, but is organized in a different way. In our previous software, we had all the shows down the left side of the grid, and all the holds across the top, with the number of each hold reported for each performance. From what I've found, Tessitura will only give you a report for the selected show or date, not all shows at once. Is this possible?

Thanks!

Have you tried pulling this in T-Stats?

  • You could also run a Hold Code Report for your season and then export it as an excel file and pivot table the information with 'perf_desc' as your Row Labels, 'hc_desc' as your column labels and then a sum of the 'seat_count' as your values.

Actually, this worked great! The only thing that is still a problem is I can't run a hold code report in Tessitura for, say 3 specific shows, which is a bit frustrating. Any ideas?

  • To do specific shows you'd probably have to use T-Stats as Nicole mentioned (or get someone to customise the report slightly for you to allow you to select specific performances).

If you open up t-stats and create a new report and select 'Seats' from the 'Selected Cube:' drop down on the left hand side.

Under the 'Measures and Dimensions' box on the left hand side expand the 'Seat Performance Details' section and drag 'Performance Name' into the Categories section at the bottom.

Now expand 'Seat Order Details' under the Measures and Dimensions section and drag 'Hold Code' in to the Series section on the right hand side.

This will give you a list of all performances you have on Tessitura and the number of seats under each of the hold codes that you have.

You can use the arrow next to the 'Performance Name' that you dragged to the categories section at the bottom to select specific performances that you want to look at.

If you save the report it'll auto update daily so that you don't have to create it again.

    James
