Job Opening - Group Sales Manager

 

 

The Old Globe seeks an energetic, organized, and highly motivated individual to join its marketing team as the key liaison with groups attending shows at the Globe. This position is responsible for maintaining and growing the Globe’s group sales. Duties include processing contracts and ticket orders, reaching out to past attendees and potential new groups, maintaining and communicating payment schedules, greeting groups at their performances, serving as a resource for the Ticket Office at performances, and giving the Globe’s group leaders a consistently positive experience with the theatre. Office hours will be 11:30am - 8:30pm, Tues-Sat, with additional hours as needed. The position reports to the Associate Director of Marketing and works closely with the Director of Marketing and Communications and the Ticket Office. The successful candidate will be warm with people, communicate a love and knowledge of the performing arts, have high personal standards of excellence, and have an extremely high attention to detail. Must be able to pass a background check. Ticketing experience strongly preferred; experience with Tessitura ticketing system is a plus. This is a full-time benefited position.
