This is the first year Bass Hall has managed Summer Education Camp registrations using Tessitura. Besides a few hiccups, the initial registration process has worked as expected. The camps are from Monday thru Friday, and we created one "performance" to represent Monday. The registration process assigned the camp attendee a seat to the Monday performance. The performance (facility) is nearing capacity, and registrations will soon be closed. When registration is closed, we will copy the Monday performance and create new performances to represent Tuesday thru Friday. Each camp day must be a separate performance. This will allow attendance to be registered for each camp day (attendance by camp day will reported). The intention was to extract order data from the Monday performance and use the Order Export/Import process to fill the Tue-Fri performances. We would either import the Tue-Fri performance data into new orders (one order for each camp day)OR Import the Tue-Fri performance data into the original order (one order would include all camp days).Either result is acceptable (though one order is preferred). The problem we're experiencing in TEST:The order import process functions as expected *except* we cannot seat the registrants in any Tue-Fri performance. We attempted several imports, using various column values in TR_IMPORT_ORDER_SET and the tab delimited Order Import Data Set.If the Order Import attempts to seat the order, the process fails. If we reserve the seat, the order import process works. From the imported order, when we select the Seat Map tab, all seats in the facility are red.If we attempt to assign a seat from an imported order, the system prompts with "Seating is not enabled for this product".In facility manager, the camp "facility" was updated and Validate Completeness did not return any errors. We noticed an Automated Seating utility, but documentation doesn't yet exist and we're not certain how (or if) it can be used.Has any organization experienced similar issues? Many thanks ...Wendell BaskinBass Hall - Fort Worth
In Performance Setup under Modes of Sale, there are two checkboxes for each MOS assigned to the performance. Seating, when not checked, prevents orders from seating on the performance. Printing, when not checked, prevents orders from being printed.
I would check to see if Seating is ticked for all MOS on the performance(s) in question.

An update …
I stumbled across something (not sure what) that allows me to import an order and reserve seats.
Then, I can open the order and assign a seat within the order. Success – kinda.
However, there are a few hundred orders and I can’t assign all of the seats for a performance.
Is there a way to automatically seat these orders?
Still searching …
