Season set up for touring symphony orchestras

Hi all.  I am in the process of planning our set up for the next year.  We are a National orchestra and tour 4 large centres which we sell subscriptions for.  I would be interested in finding out the season set ups for other organisations like ourselves.  We have 17 (or more) different programmes we play each year and these are toured around the country.  Only one performance in each centre.  Each programme can be performed in 1-4 different centres.  Our subscriptions focus around the centres rather than the programmes, so people could be buying a Wellington subscription, Auckland subscription etc,

Thank you for sharing!

    Hey Michelle...

ACO is pretty similar - fewer programs (11ish), more perfs of each (up to 12, across 10 cities), but a similar pattern, with city/venue/evening based subs (fixed-seat). Not sure there's many others (if any) that follow that kind of pattern.

Pity we didn't get to discuss it in Melbourne, but we'd be happy to have a chat about it and show you our Tess setup, if you like. Send me an email at ken.mcswain@aco.com.au , and we can arrange a time.
