Our FOH Manager brought an error message to my attention yesterday that I've not seen before.
“ERROR: retrieving sales data” followed by
“ERROR: TabControl1_SelectedIndexChanged-“ at this point clearing the 2nd error also exits the Monitor Sales app.
She mentioned that this happens more frequently with one of the two devices that are setup to allow access to the Monitor Attendance - Sales (MAS) module but is intermittent enough to be irksome.
From what I understand they are not rebooting the devices prior to each performance but rather closing out of and then re-starting N-Scan application itself. Once the Device Profile is updated they try to access ot the MAS module and see the errors described above.
When that happens they again close out of and then re-start the N-Scan application and it seems to correct itself..
Has anyone else encountered this error? My suggestion at this stage would be to reboot the devices periodically to see if that improves performance.
