We've encountered a really odd discrepancy this afternoon. Our Assistant Ticketing Services Manager was attempting to re-zone a handful of seats for one performance in a season. He went into Season Manager, Season Maintenance, searched for the season he was targeting and then removed all but the event he needed to change.
He then clicks on the Price Zones and View Map tabs and is seeing nothing but a black map. He has tested other seasons and events and is able to see those just fine. He cannot see any zone maps for the season in question. The real kicker is, he built all of the zone maps that he can't see in Season Maintenance.
I'm at a loss. We're in the same user group and yet he's unable to see these maps.
Has anyone encountered something similar? Am I missing something obvious that I'm just too close to see? Any insight or suggestions are warmly welcomed! :)

It’s not quite the same, but I had a few shows in a production that didn’t have any seats in them at all, even though I used copy perf to build them (v11). Running the populate_perf_seat utility fixed that, thankfully. Can you see the seats and zones that your asst mgr can’t? Is there any possibility he was logged in under another user group that one time?...

I know it's been a while - but if you recall anything to do with the cause of the black map and could let me know, I'd be most grateful.
We've had it reported too, only for two users who are at the same organisation within our consortium. However, it only happens intermittently, and it's affected the one production season only - very odd.

We had this recently come up again and we can now replicate it so thought I would share in case anyone else encounters it...
Once you have selected your performance/s in Season Maintenance, move to a tab (Hold Codes for example) but don't click "View Map", then move to Price Zones tab and "View Map" from there, and you'll get the blank screen.
Looks like it's related to defect #63737.
So if you get the blank screen, go back into the previous tab you were in (Hold Codes from the above example), go to "View Map", then go back into the Price Zones Map. You should be able to see the map then.
Or alternatively, make sure you go straight to the tab you want!
