Hi!
Me and our marketing team were looking into the webinar of Social Ticketing this morning. We thought it was amazing. However when I read the client list it looks like only seven clients are using it. Why is it so? Something vital we have missed out on?
Also if anyone read this and is using the TN Social ticketing would you mind answering how many of your customers are using the app and how many tickets do you sell in a year through it? How did you market it when it was new?
Kind regards,
Michelle Jangbecker
Hi Michelle,
We use TNST and in our 2014 season, sold 1118 tickets total. Approximately 33% of those sales were from new attendees. That was also with very little marketing effort put forth.
Our biggest year was 2013 where we sold 2,377 tickets. About 48% of that was new attendees. This was our first full season of using TNST and we had much more marketing effort that season.
In both seasons, it represented 0.2% of our overall ticket sales.
Michele
I believe the pre-built solution isn't mobile responsive (but I could be wrong!). Worth asking the question, as that would impact our decision to install or not.
Beau.
Thank you for the replies!
Michele: Will you use TNST for your 2015 season as well?
Thanks Beau: I´ve asked Tessitura about it.

Yes, we are still using it.
They will be getting rid of TNST soon. There will be a new release of TNEW in a year that will include what they learned in the TNST experiement!
Hi Gregory,
The Stratford Festival was one of the founding member orgs for TNST and have not heard this information - where did you hear that?
Hi all: Thanks for the interest in TNST!
More information coming to the website shortly but, as discussed in the most recent TNST Partner meeting (last month) and with each of the Tessitura-hosted (prebuilt) TNST organizations subsequently, both the prebuilt (hosted) and Toolkit TNST applications will be sunsetted (exact timeline is still being determined). Michelle, as Partner user of the toolkit application, please contact JCA for more information on your options.
The collaboration and knowledge gathered during the past years of the product have been a shining example of the Network community in action and are a huge success in their own right. But the product saw less adoption than we expected. So we're rolling up the valuable insights gathered and putting them to work in other Network initiatives, most specifically into TN Express Web (TNEW) with the coming V6 release which features Facebook login and integrated post-to-wall from the purchase path.
I'll post the link for further detail on the sunset of TNST here as it becomes available. In the meantime, if you have questions, please contact tnst@tessituranetwork.com (or JCA directly if you prefer to as a Partner organization.)
Thanks!Kristin
Thanks for the update Kristin. I am not the main contact for TNST so checked with our contact and he was unable to make that meeting which is why we weren't aware. I've forwarded him your post.
Thanks Michele!
Just FYI that we did post the broader announcement today here:

For those looking for social integration options with Tessitura-powered websites (TNEW or custom), Tessitura support and web teams are glad to talk with you. Reach out to me or anyone on Support to start a conversation.
Thanks all!
Hi Kristin,
I tried the link you provided but it doesn't seem to be working.
Hi Jennifer,
The TNST page has been removed from our website since the product is no longer available, but here is the text of the announcement Kristin referred to; if you have further questions, a good contact point would be tnew@tessituranetwork.com.

With the February 25, 2015 Partner meeting, the founding TNST Partner organizations, JCA and the Tessitura Network agreed to sunset the TN Social Ticketing product. Many thanks to all involved in this project, specifically the founding Partner organizations, JCA and the users of the TN Social Ticketing (TNST) application.
We have talked with each user of the hosted TNST application and have determined that there is very little demand for the hosted version to continue into 2015. As such, we are discontinuing sales, hosting and support of the TNST prebuilt application.
The Partners of the TNST project met on February 25, 2015 to discuss the future of the toolkit and prebuilt applications. It was determined in that meeting that the toolkit application would sunset concurrently with the prebuilt/hosted application. As such, sales and maintenance for the toolkit/custom integrations has also been discontinued.
