Hi All!
I've been trying to come up with ways our records in Tessitura can better represent patrons who identify outside of M/F or Mr./Mrs./Ms. Are there other theaters in the network that could offer advice about you've addressed this issue? Is there a set of standards anyone could recommend that might help inform these changes? Common sense tells me that we need to have better options to better serve patrons outside the gender binary, but I would love some outside guidance!
Thanks!

We don't codify M/F in our db, so that avoids a certain number of issues.
As far as prefixes are concerned, we don't make them required, and we offer the gender-neutral Mx. for those who identify themselves that way (we regularly produce one Mx. Justin Vivian Bond at our cabaret venue).
Thanks, Nick!
I'm glad to hear that Mx. is being used in Tess- is anyone out there using Ind. M. or Misc. ?
