Hi everyone!
We want to put an offer online with a promo code that discounts only 2 of our 6 price zones. Cherry on top, with the promo code we want only those seats to show up online. So when the promo code is applied, my blue and purple seats show as available with the discount applied and everything else looks 'unavailable'. Is this possible?
Yes – very easy (so I say!): when you set up the discount price for the offer only enable it for the zones you want to sell. Disable the other zones. Et voila!

Yes. You can do this with Allocations or just making that Price Type not checked off as being “Enabled” in the detailed view of your pricing.

Hi Nicole,
I’m not sure if the Enable checkbox would work since we still want all price zones working if they don’t have the promo code.

I set up the new price type with the promo code and disabled the price zones I don't want the offer on and all of that works no problem. Its just my marketing peeps don't want the other colors to be on the SYOS page at all which is where I get stuck. They want when you enter the promo and go to the SYOS you only see the Blue & Purple discounted seats; not scrolling around the map until you find the seats that are discounted.
Haha I got it! I had the unassigned code applied to the promotional MOS which kept bringing the seats up. And when I tried just unchecking the Enabled box on the price zones I didn't want, it removed those seats as available but was also changing the color of my seats. Thanks everybody!! :)
To accomplish that you’ll also need to use allocation codes and a mode of sale shift triggered by the Promo code. You would associate the promotional mode of sale with the promotional allocation code and not with the Unassigned code. Apply the promotional allocation code to the seats you are setting aside for the promotion, and then when you are in the promotional mode of sale the only seats that will be returned as available are those that have been specifically allocated.
Here’s a link to the help topic on allocations: https://www.tessituranetwork.com/Help_System_v121/Content/Allocations/Allocation%20Code%20Overview.htm

Hey Jennifer.
I'm interested in setting something like this up in the future so I'm reading this thread.
What exactly do you mean by unchecking the Enabled box on the price zones you didn't want? Did you mean unchecking the Disabled Box to Enable them?
What exactly fixed the problem?
Thanks in advance.

Hi Adria,
In Ticketing Setup - Holds/Allocation Codes - Allocation/MOS tab I had the Unassigned (*) Allocation Code associated to my Web Promo MOS. So when I was entering my promo code it would still show all of the price zones that I didn’t want to show. The Enabled checkbox is in the Detailed View of pricing and it was suggested that I just uncheck that box for any price zones I didn’t want on the website. But with my setup, that would have disabled those prices across the board so I didn’t want to do that.
