Ticket and Subscription History

Hi All,

We are wondering if there is a way to transfer ticket history to a patron who splits up their account.  For example, Mrs Smith has purchased subscriptions for 2 of her friends for 10 years. This year however, they choose to split up their subscriptions into their own accounts.

We are starting to do more and more work to honour long time subscribers and unfortunately this info is lost when creating new accounts.  Any ideas? Does anybody have a workaround on this?

Thanks

Reena

    Hi Reena,

Bit depends on how daring you want to be.

The most daring move using SQL edit the current record, move the edited record into EXCEL, copy and edit the record so the information reflects the friends purchase, and then do a custom import of the EXCEL data.

The less daring process use attributes so you would have and attribute for the series and the number of years subscribed.  You could then write a bit of SQL to update the years subscribed at the end of each season.
