Venue Address/Phone in Ticket Design

Good morning,

We have launched a shared ticketing initiative across three organizations, two of which are members of our Consortium and as we continue to grow we're running into a bit of a ticket design problem.

I was wondering if/how we might be able to pull venue specific information (Facility Name is covered) onto a ticket design based on what facility the performance is built against.  The biggest issue we have at current is that one of the presenting organization performs in multiple venues.  Previously we were building this information into the Title-1, Title-2, Title-3 fields, but this presenter is now joining the consortium and their events are no longer split into two titles (Venue-1, Venue-2).

Any thoughts, wizardry, and speculation is greatly appreciated!

Cheers!

  • Since the ticket design is attached to the price at the performance level, you can just design a different ticket for each venue - even each performance.  If you have a basic ticket design all you have to do is copy that design and tweak it for the venue/perf.  It's a bit of a nuisance going into each performance to add the various designs, but if you do it when you're building the event it's no problem.  The theaters I've worked at have literally dozens of ticket designs to use.
