Does QuickSale have any alias capability for payment method names similar to TNEW?
We are a consortium and have a unique naming convention for payment methods. We like this convention as it quickly tells us which consortium member owns the pmt method, which function they are using it for and it also logically groups the payment types in a drop down so that people with access to multiple payment methods are less likely to use the wrong one
G TKTG Cash <<< extra spaces list cash & checks together first in the dropdown
G TKTG Checking
G TKTG CC Amex
G TKTG CC Discover
G TKTG CC MC
G TKTG CC Visa
The problem is that the name is too long for QuickSale and all four credit card buttons in QuickSale read “G TKTG CC”
Just thought I'd ask before tweaking our naming convention - we are on v12.1.2

I wonder if using the generic Credit Card payment method might solve your problem. This lets you have 1 button on quick sale for a credit card payment and it automatically sends it to the correct card type (Visa, AMX, etc...). So you could have a Credit Card button for each consortium member using the naming convention you mention.
