Last rollover period, one of our seasons was rolled into fake packages that had only date built in, and at the full regular cost of the subscription, so we could get something on sale and charge the renewals (which loads of people have paid for by now). Now I know that we are doing shows 2 & 3 for the package and am thinking about the best way to get these shows into the package, and people into their seats. Would you:
- Build a new set of packages with all three shows included and then manually exchange people out of their fake package and into the real one
- Keep that dummy package as-is and then seat shows 2 and 3 as singles using the order export and import utilities.
- Something else I’m not thinking of
I’m leaning towards solution 1 because it’s the most simplest (if tedious) option. I also think it would be cleaner and make more sense when people are doing exchanges, and for next year’s rollover. But I would love to hear any other ideas!
