Hello!
My boss would like to know the # of constituents for our current season and would like to know how many of those people are brand new, never attended before. I'm able to pull the total # for 14/15, but when I try to pull just new people, I keep getting accounts that have ticket history prior to 14/15. It seems I am getting households that don't have previous ticket history but the individuals within the household do. How do I get rid of those guys??
At the bottom, which do you have checked, "Leave the individual constituents as select by the list criteria" or "Replace individual constituents with their primary household, if one exists"? I am not sure if that will solve the problem, but changing that might be worth experimenting.
There are probably some slick T-Stats ways you could do this, but one way you could do it is with an Extraction:
- Create a suppression segment for all records who have ticket history prior to your 14/15 season
- Then create an inclusion segment for constituents with ticket history in the 14/15 season.
When you run counts for the extraction, all of the people who had prior purchases will be included in the first suppression segment, and will not be included in your 14/15 segment.
