Wheelchairs online

Hi all

We are just in the setup-proces before we go live very soon. We have an issue with our wheelchairs. We would like our customers to be able to purchase the wheel-seats online, and we were hoping to do this using an allocation. It seems to be more complex than we were hoping, since the wheelschair spaces can if not sold be switched with a normal seat (sometimes one wheelchair can even switch to two seats).

Have any of you solved this issue and can you help us with best practice on this?

Thank you.

Kind regards Eva

    Hi Eva,

We haven't solved this but we use a combination of allocations and zones to make our wheelchairs display as we want them to online and to only be available to people on our Access List.

Our box office managers rezone and remove the allocations regularly  to turn the seats back to regular seats.

Maybe if you were using breakable hold codes online (which we don't) you could set a utility to run to expire those hold codes 24 hours/72 hours before the show start time - maybe someone else is doing something like this already?!
