Daily Sales Reporting Help

Hi all,

I'm trying to streamline my Box Office reporting routine. does anyone have a good trick in T-Stats maybe for separating the layers of a ticket price so that I can easily get to a Gross and Net for the day's sales. Right now I'm manually copying totals into a spreadsheet that reverse-engineers all the setup we've done with price layers in Tess. This as you might imagine results in a frustrating number of errors which should never get this second set of opportunities to occur.

My feeling is that the only option I am going to have will be to create this from scratch in Infomaker. What I want is a breakdown of Ticket sales (with price-layer details) for a date (or range of dates) grouped by season, production, production season, or performance.

Is anyone using anything like this and can offer some guidance?

Thanks!

You would need some T-Stats customization. We have invested in having some customizations to show only Category 1 of Price Map Layers or all categories and it was well worth the cost.

  • Thanks, Nicole! I'll look into it. Sounds like it'll be the best method. If its in T-stats then I suppose you can very easily collapse and scroll and disclose in order to compare historical sales to current and make other meaningful analysis.

To clarify, does your customization grant you the flexibility to simply select your first layer in line with measures like "paid amount" or "ticket amount"? or does it end up in a separate group of customized measures and dimensions?
