Promo codes in TNEW

Hi All,

We've been on TNEW about a month now and I programmed my first promo code for TNEW. I've done everything that I always did before TNEW, but for some reason the code is not working. I've read the TNEW User Guide over and over about sources and promo codes, but can't find anything wrong. We are V11 and have not yet gone to V12. Does anyone have a handy TNEW tip about this? All comments are appreciated.

Thanks,

Susan

  • Hi Laura,

Yes, I listed it there. We use a different MOS for promos on the web. For full price sales we use “Internet” and for promo codes we use “Web Offers” as we did in the past. Does this change anything in TNEW?

    Thanks,

    Susan

There is a system table called LTR_TNEW_ALIAS_PRICE_TYPE that used to trip me up. Is the price type associated with your promo listed there?

  • Hi Susan,

    Here's a quick check list:

    * Offer set up on MOS, checking dates are relevant.

    * Source set up, checking dates are relevant.

    * Entry made in TR_WEB_SOURCE_NO and promo code spelled correctly.

    * Price Type and MOS made available to Web User Group through Security Module.

    * Price Type associated to MOS in TX_MOS_PRICETYPE.

    * MOS has access to any allocation codes in use for performance in Facility Setup.

Hope there is something there that helps.

    Cheers,

    Kevin
