Hi Carol,

There are a couple of stored procedures that your dba would need to run if you make changes to a facility after it’s already been built.  I can’t remember all of them off the top of my head, but a quick search of ‘changes to a facility after performances have been built’ on the Tess website will bring them up!

Cheers,

Kathleen

Subject: [Tessitura Ticketing Forum] Permanently Killing seats in SYOS map

Hi,

We have a reoccurring event for which we don't sell specific seats. We have been using a hold template to kill these seats.  I would like to find a way to permanently kill the seats, rather than applying the template each time we set up these events. We sell these events online and can't have a new SYOS map created.

This is what I have tried; I copied the facility. In the Facility Manager, I used the seat type Non Seat on these seats and  used the Kill hold code. In Facility Manager, I can't see the seats after applying the Kill, but in the sale window I am still able to sell them.

Has anyone else ever done this? Thoughts? Suggestions?

Thanks,

Carol
